9-week Social Program
It's not just another Social Skills Program
It is an opportunity to grow, learn and make new friends
Give your child the opportunity to enhance their language development, communication, social, and planning skills with the Kid Connections Therapy Social Groups. These groups are designed to improve your child’s language development and expand their social skills.
Our passionate team of Speech-Language Pathologists are facilitating fun and engaging workshops, available to preschoolers and elementary-aged children. Through these sessions, we will work with your children to develop skills to continue the conversation at a higher language level. There will be a focus on building empathy, and understanding roles and responsibilities in interactions. Sessions will also focus on planning, organizing, and collaborating.
By the end of the 9-week program, your child will have the opportunity to:
- Engage socially
- Plan effectively
- Interact meaningfully
- Have improved ability to make friends
- Communicate more effectively

Program Goals
Group members (up to 4 children per group) will have the opportunity to practice:
- Having simple conversations with peers by asking and answering questions, sharing ideas and making comments
- Following directions in a small group setting
- Building relationships with peers through imaginative and cooperative play
- Working in a group of peers to problem solve and finish tasks
- Using social-emotional and self-advocacy skills
